There are about 20 KMS to the
Zermatt summer skiing run and the best news is that it is
right (almost) under the Matterhorn. The skiing is serviced
by the Klein Matterhorn lifts and all takes place on the
Theodulo glacier. Prices range from 78 Swiss Francs for one
day with a considerable discount as one adds days. As we
stated in our Zermatt summer story the skiing can, in no
way, be described as challenging. But hey; you are likely to
see a member of some alpine ski team or another as they
often use the Matterhorn resort for training grounds |
