| The
Breuil-Cervinia This is the gateway to Italy, the beautiful run to Cervinia, the Italian side of The Matterhorn. Although this run is not excessively difficult, it is taxing because it is long. You won't find a lot of bumps and steep pitches on your journey, but you will, if you are a recreational skier, find it taxing none the less. Your run will take you through the Plateau Rosa, The Lagi Cime Bianche, and finally down to Breuil-Cervinia at 2,050 meters above the sea. If you choose to take the route to Valtournanche at 1524 Meters, you will be experiencing one of the longest, if not THE longest ski run in Europe. This writer reckons it is at least 16km. |
