Botanical
hikes with Mrs. Karen Wiese organized by GOING PLACES!
June
29 – July 6, 2002 (men/women)
July 6-13 (women only)
Enjoy
these hiking weeks in the fresh Zermatt mountain air accompanied by
botanist Karen Wiese.
Karen, a well known, highly regarded
hike leader in Northern California. Discover the many known and
unknown plants of the Zermatt mountain region. After the hike, you
will have a chance to relax in the hotel's own fitness facilities with
their indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam bath.
We
will be staying at two different hotels – one in the heart of
Zermatt village and the other overlooking the village at 8100 feet.
While the hotels are very different from each other, they both
represent the best of Swiss hospitality and cuisine. Each inn has an
expansive view of the Matterhorn and surrounding alpine peaks.
