Zurich Airport to Zermatt by train.

The train ride from Zurich Airport to Zermatt just got quicker by a little over an hour. Thanks to the completion of the new Lotschberg tunnel the train ride to Visp is much more efficient and-dare we say it again-quicker. The ride from Zurich to Visp takes just over three hours when before it took well over four. All change in Visp where the journey on the famous mountain train takes another hour to cover a much smaller distance. Never mind though, many people really enjoy the scenery on the ride up.
