might, using journalistic license, call this area the town square.
After
all,
it hosts the Zermatt tourist office as well as the train to
Tasch, Visp and the rest of the world. The area also boasts the
conveniences of a well - stocked newsstand, electric and equine taxis,
hotel transfer vehicles,
luggage storage and a travel agent. In addition there
is a station café where you can enjoy your wait for a train in
the warm summer sun. Trains though, are frequent in high season, so you
won’t have much time.
